Moderate Plus Saline Breast Implants

Posted On: May 03, 2019 Author: The Office of Dr. Stuart Linder Posted In: Breast Augmentation, Breast Implants, Breast topics

The patient below is a 28-year-old female requesting breast augmentation. She desired a natural appearance to enhance and balance her overall bustline and figure. After she explained her expectations, we selected 390 cc saline moderate plus breast implants for the procedure. Moderate plus implants are mid-range implants that have an average width and quantity of AP projection. Below are before and after photos of her pre-operation and the results six weeks following her breast augmentation procedure.

Natural Looking Breast Augmentation

Before and After Photo of Woman Having Breast AugmentationThe patient to the left was requesting a breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammoplasty. During her consultation, she emphasized that she was looking for a very natural look. After she explained her expectations, we selected 330-360 cc saline moderate plus breast implants for the procedure.

Moderate plus profile implants are known as a compromise between the moderate profile (the widest and flattest implants, the least AP projection) and the high profile saline implants (the most AP projection and least in diameter or width). The moderate plus saline implants also have a mid-range of anterior and posterior projection and are not quite as extensive as the more flattened moderate profile implant. The biggest advantage of moderate plus profile implants is not too much AP projection, and it is especially useful for patients who are somewhat narrow along the thoracic cavity.
