Sculpting Bodies in Beverly Hills

Body sculpting procedures have advanced greatly in the last two decades. Safety and predictability are without a doubt the most important issues when dealing with plastic surgery procedures of all sorts.

High profile, smooth, round saline implants are used uniformly in Dr. Linder's practice due to their increased projection and fullness and less lateral or outer fullness, which women dislike due to their matronly appearance. Saline and silicone implants are available, however, silicone implants are still restricted by the FDA and patients must meet specific requirements for their use. Subpectoral placement of implants through the periareolar approach in Dr. Linder's hands seems to yield the most consistent results, with hundreds of implants placed annually by Dr. Linder.

Body sculpting procedures such as liposuction have advanced greatly as well. The tumescent technique is considered the gold standard via the American Board of Plastic Surgery at this time. The tumescent technique allows for reduced blood loss, swelling and more predictability of contour of the abdomen with less downtime and contour deformities.

Abdominoplasty procedures or tummy tucks are very useful, especially for women who have laxity or looseness of the lower abdominal skin and are not good candidates for liposuctioning.

Considering the specific surgeon for your upcoming elective cosmetic surgery is vital. It is important to choose a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Also, the surgeon should perform hundreds of this same procedure that you're hoping to have done annually. General anesthesia is preferred for Dr. Linder's body sculpting procedure because it allows for a safer environment and more consistent results. The anesthesiologist should be Board Certified with the American Board of Anesthesia and the surgery center should be certified.
