Back a few months ago there was an article in New Beauty that stated, “A new trend is on the rise of women requesting breast ‘explants,’ aka, having their implants removed”.

Here in my Beverly Hills practice, I perform this procedure often. In fact, a few years ago I developed a specific website (www.implantremoval.net) to help inform women regarding removal.

I have found that women contemplate this procedure because of complications, physical changes, weight gain, or changes in the image they wish to project.
