MENTOR is raising the bar in breast reconstruction with the launch of its largest silicone gel implants to date—now available in sizes up to 1445 ccs. Among the new offerings is the 1240 cc extra high profile MENTOR MemoryGel® Enhance Implant, designed to meet the needs of patients seeking greater volume and contour following surgery.
In May 2025, the FDA approved MENTOR’s MemoryGel® Enhance Breast Implants for use in breast reconstruction and revision surgeries. This expanded approval allows for more personalized outcomes, particularly for women who have undergone mastectomies or experienced significant tissue loss. These implants provide the ability to restore volume and shape with precision—an important development in the pursuit of both aesthetic excellence and emotional healing.
This is a major step forward in reconstructive breast surgery, as it gives surgeons enhanced tools to tailor each procedure to the patient’s unique anatomy and goals. The implants are FDA-approved for reconstructive purposes only at this time and are not yet indicated for cosmetic augmentation.

Why It Matters
- More Volume: Implants now go up to 1445 ccs, ideal for patients requiring greater fullness.
- Reconstructive Focus: Tailored specifically for post-mastectomy patients and complex revision cases.
- FDA Approved: Approved for reconstruction and revision, not cosmetic use.
